1 cup Adolphus long-grain rice
2 cups water or stock
1/2 Tbsp of butter
salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in 2 qt Pyrex dish. Microwave* uncovered at full power for 10 minutes. Cover, then microwave at 30% power for 7 minutes. Allow to stand covered 5 minutes. *My microwave cooks at 1200W.
